"Not all takeout fried chicken is the same. That greasy platter that’s so good in the restaurant doesn’t always hold up when you get it home, especially on a heavy traffic day. Mike’s has none of those issues. The extra crispy skin is good an hour later and still crispy on day two — which is as close to a miracle as fried chicken can get. The sides all hold up well, too, but the most long-lasting are the macaroni and cheese and mashed potatoes. If you can make it home without eating the whole platter in your car, it’s guaranteed to still be finger-licking good. Both locations have a walk-up window for takeout orders, and those orders can be placed on its website." - Courtney E. Smith
