"Thompson Restaurant’s Wiseguy Pizza announced on Wednesday that the chain would be donating a portion of proceeds from all eight location to the Marion Barry Jr. Legacy Foundation during November. The donations are the chain’s response to &pizza’s controversial “Marion Berry Knots,” which were clearly themed around former mayor Marion Barry’s drug arrest and have been getting D.C. community pushback (even after being taken off the menu).
