"Located in an atmospheric district of preserved kura and merchant homes, this long-standing brewery (dating from 1877) offers tours and tastings of its products, including Yamasan Masamune Junmai Ginjo brewed from Sakanishiki rice developed locally. Visitors can purchase bottles on site as well as uniquely blended bath sake intended for pouring into the tub at home, connecting heritage brewing with experiential souvenirs." - Karen Gardiner
