"Opened in 2023 on Madison’s North Side by former venue manager Matt Gerding and Cadre chef Evan Dannells, this supper club mixes hi-fi vinyl DJs (the “hi”) with relaxed, self-described "Wisconsin fancy" vibes (the “lo”)—"come in your sweatpants and drink a can of Hamm’s, if you must." Dannells says, "Street food, like dumplings, is looked at the same way abroad as our comfort food, like cheese curds, is here," and the menu reflects that global tavern approach, with standout items such as a Korean-style pizza topped with bulgogi beef and sweet sauce.
