NY Cake Will Relocate

"A longtime staple for frosting enthusiasts, NY Cake — which began as the Chocolate Gallery in 1980 and became NY Cake in 1989 — will keep its original location open through the summer even as its owners plan a fall move to a larger storefront just a block away at 118 West 22nd. Co-owner and co-founder Lisa Mansour said they were "looking diligently" for a new location; the new, bigger space will carry more products, offer an expanded schedule of classes, and include a café with in-house sweets.
