"As the hotel’s sole formal dining and drinking concept, the indoor space contrasts with the courtyard seating—warm acid-washed walls, a black marble bar top and checkered tile arches give it a distinct, cozy vibe—while the courtyard lets you enjoy the full menu al fresco. The happy hour is a highlight: it runs most of the week (closed Mondays), on Fridays the discounts apply all day, and select cocktails and wines are just $8, a deal that’s virtually unheard of in West Hollywood; on Tuesdays, every margarita or signature tequila cocktail comes with two complimentary crispy beef tacos. Menu favorites include the signature Short Stories Burger, umami-coated French fries and a refreshing cucumber and avocado salad.
