"The Southern is a steakhouse in SoBro with a pinch of Cajun flair. It leans more toward a tavern than a fancy steakhouse—the kind of place you visit with a small group of friends or come for a solo date at the bar. That being said, try and sit at that bar and catch a Preds game on one of the several flat screens posted up around the room. And because watching grown men beat the ever-loving tar out of each on ice skates can work up an appetite, start with a few oysters and a bowl of gumbo.
