"Norfolk is blessed with plenty of places to get a sweet treat, but no one is doing pastries like Chelsea Bakehouse. If you’re in line early enough, the pastry case is full of exciting seasonal flavors, like goat cheese and strawberry galettes in spring and egg nog hand pies in winter. If all that’s left by the time you arrive are morning buns or kougin aman, you’ll still find yourself in a haze of flaky pastry bliss. Their drip coffee is just okay, so take your stash over to Vessel two doors down to enjoy it with the best cappuccino in Norfolk. Chelsea Bakehouse is known for their Neapolitan-style pizza as well, but you may have more fun eating them at one of the local breweries where they’re also served, like Elation." - Alicia Camden
