"At Elorea, the best thing you’ll taste is the air. Perched on the third floor of gothic-looking Chapman Plaza in Koreatown, this high-end perfume boutique comes with an ultra-aesthetic cafe attached. The interior looks more art installation than store, with monochrome furniture and a dramatic winding staircase that exists purely for decoration. It also smells incredible inside, which makes it fun to test perfumes and lotions. And if you buy a bottle (they aren’t cheap), they’ll throw in a free drink from the cafe—some arrive swirled with smoke, others are topped with foam and flower petals. We wouldn’t head to Elorea for the drinks alone, but if you need a last-minute gift for your aunt who always smells like sandalwood, while also sipping something pretty, soaking in rooftop views, and people-watching Stüssy-wearing influencers, you can do it all in one place. photo credit: Cathy Park" - Cathy Park
