Stumptown Coffee Roasters - Greenwich Village - Review - New York - The Infatuation

"There is a place that must be shut down called 787 Coffee where they will look you in the eye, charge you $7 for a cold brew and serve it to you in a plastic bag. If I’m going to pay $7 for a coffee I’d at least like it to be in a cup. And when I’m willing to splurge, I head to the Stumptown by Washington Square Park (only after getting a massage at Renew on West 8th, of course) and order a big ass drip coffee. It’s impossible to get a seat there, so I’ll grab my coffee and walk over to a very spiritual place called Lenwich. At Lenwich, you can get anything your sick mind can dream up. At Lenwich, I’m not afraid to order a turkey sandwich at 8am. I usually go turkey, muenster cheese, pickles, lettuce, tomato, honey mustard and mayo. I’ll take my treats to Washington Square Park and watch the NYU students stumble to class. Of course I don't miss cramming for an exam after staying up until 4 AM watching some guy play guitar until he kisses me, but I do miss college in so many ways—wasn't everything possible then? Yet, isn’t it now, still? I am profoundly tired. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation
