"Viceversa’s location in the lobby of a Downtown hotel makes it subject to seasonal fluctuations in tourist traffic. But even in summer, this place gives locals great reasons to get this close to Bayside Marketplace. There’s the Monday burger night special, the only night they serve that squishy little masterpiece. They also have an excellent weekday happy hour featuring $10 Negronis and a cacio e pepe fried chicken sandwich. And we hope they bring back their seasonal mango gelato this summer. Even your average Saturday night here is still a phenomenal blur of gin, pizza, and more gin. Reservations for ViceVersa’s (tiny) dining room are available on Resy 30 days in advance. It’s not hard to find a weekday reservation at a decent hour. For a Saturday night table, just book a week or so in advance. But if you suffer from chronic spontaneity and want to walk in, the bar is all first come, first served. You’ll definitely have to wait for a table.
