"Taking over the former Rice Bar space, Baon is a Filipino spot that’s a great option for a quick lunch amid the chaos of Downtown LA. Rice bowls are the best things on the menu, like coconut milk and chili shrimp with ginger, and chicken apritada in tomato sauce that’s topped with crispy chicken skin. Our favorite, though, is the pork belly adobo, which is cooked in soy sauce and vinegar, and topped with a sweet and addictive strawberry relish." - Brett Keating
