"At The Coral Wing, you can sip on a tropical rum cocktail in a bar that looks vaguely like the inside of a ship’s lower deck. Easy to miss, this Mount Vernon spot is tucked to the side of the Hotel Ulysses, in the literal alley—look for the lanterns to find the entrance. Once inside, you’ll enjoy an oasis of classic cocktails with island twists, including mai tais and passion fruit mojitos. Sink back into a velvety chair that lines the walls, sip a painkiller, and imagine yourself lounging on the high seas amongst the fashionable patrons, hotel guests, and industry folks just off their shifts." - Michele Berry
