"If you don’t like the vibe at Moon Room, come back the next night—it’ll be completely different. This sexy, semi-hidden drinking den (it’s located on the second floor, look for the neon yellow sign) is the Swiss Army knife of Melrose cocktail bars. One night you might wander into a French DJ set with 24-year-olds chain-smoking on the wrap-around patio, the next a musical theater sing-along. We’ve seen Craig Robinson croon Madonna songs at the baby grand piano and comedians try out material for their Netflix special. The one constant, however, is the tremendous cocktail menu, which includes a cilantro-y margarita, a vanilla-kissed mezcal negroni, and our highlight, the Lynx Martini laced with pistachio and za’atar oil." - Brant Cox
