"Each one of Ivy’s cobblers comes in a small, round tin—like a cross between a cupcake wrapper and a personal pie pan. And while the presentation is cute, that’s the least interesting thing about this Grant Park counterservice spot’s cobblers. The crust is buttery, rich, dense—and flakier than your friend who still can’t commit to weekend plans. It’s tempting to just focus there, scraping up every last crumb, but that’d be a mistake because the thick, sweet filling more than holds its own. And it doesn’t matter which flavor you go for—peach, apple, cherry, blueberry, or their specialty apple-cherry mix called Fruit Loops—they all go along with the “heavenly” bit. The sweetness is not so sugary that you can’t taste the fruit, and the spice blend is just right. photo credit: Amy Sinclair photo credit: Amy Sinclair photo credit: Amy Sinclair photo credit: Amy Sinclair Pause Unmute" - Jacinta Howard
