Genesis House - Review - Meatpacking District - New York - The Infatuation

"To get to this fancy Korean restaurant in Meatpacking, you take an elevator up to the second floor from a showroom for Genesis brand cars. There, you can have a quiet, luxurious meal with things like jellyfish salad topped with Asian pear and spotted prawn, and an earthy kal ssakdugi with buckwheat knife noodles, brisket, and egg ribbons. If you can’t decide, go ahead and try their greatest hits in a seven-course tasting menu for $185. This spot could play second-stringer to places like Atomix, but it doesn’t get as busy, so it’s a useful option if you need a last-minute walk-in table with upscale food, and a nice view of the water. Afterwards, have a hot cup of tea while you peruse their small library of rare Korean art books.
