icafe Bakery

"While the selection at iCafe is more limited than many other bakeries in Chinatown, this spot makes up for its lack of range with items that are difficult to find in SF. Alongside classic buns and pastries, their pastry case is stocked with Chinese tamales, several versions of fruit-filled sticky rice, and, during Lunar New Year, huge versions of year cakes filled with red bean, water chestnut, and coconut. There’s limited booth seating, but if you’re lucky enough to find a seat to have some quality time with your newly acquired pastries, the friendly staff will warm up your order." - Patrick Wong
