"If this list were solely ranked by strength, Latin American Club’s margarita would easily top the list. Offered in a 16-oz. regular size for $17 and in a half size for $10—with the option to make it “spicy” for an additional dollar—they’re strong enough to knock you on your feet after a few, but also highly variable in taste and preparation. On some nights, we were asked if we wanted a Tajín or salt rim, but on others, we simply received salt or no rim at all. Once, the strength was well-balanced by a hefty dose of lime, and another time, the drink somehow tasted like burnt rubber (we didn’t finish it).
