"Cara is a buzzy hotel restaurant on the border of Hollywood and Los Feliz that you’ve probably already seen photos of. The open-air dining space looks great, and we can almost guarantee you’ll see several strangers posing poolside while dining under the palm trees lining their photogenic courtyard. Unfortunately, Cara’s impressive atmosphere is the only notable thing about it. We found the American/Italian food here thoroughly underwhelming. And you’ll probably have to wait about an hour for a boring egg white frittata or some overcooked pasta to arrive at your table. We’d recommend you steer clear of this place entirely, but if you do end up at Cara, just stick to the cocktail menu and prepare for some primetime people watching." - Nikko Duren
