"Paradox Design + Coffee is proof that good things come in small packages. This pretty, dinky Netil Market unit serves coffee that tastes as good as this pocket-sized spot looks. Most people stick to the little hatch, grabbing cups of Campbell & Syme brews and wandering around London Fields. But we like the adjoining cafe. It’s tight, just a few seats, but it’s full of beautiful objects—sketchy drawings of flowers and mountainscapes on cards, embossed fermentation books, ember-smelling candles—and feels utterly peaceful. The beans they use read like a who’s who of the coffee world—Dark Coffee Roasters, Yallah beans they picked up from a trip to the South West coast—and drinks are made expertly, and with care. It’s one of our favourite coffee spots in the city. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch" - Sinéad Cranna
