"“I'm biased as f*ck—I've loved the Franks for a long, long time. Them opening up in Nashville is a dream come true. To be able to eat their food in Nashville is truly a sense of home away from home. I probably have eaten at Frankies [in Brooklyn] more than any restaurant in New York, you know? So to be able to eat their food in a different town and feel close to people that I care about is an amazing thing. Also being able to eat mascarpone and their prunes anywhere in the world…it's my favorite dessert. Their salads are my favorite. They’ve got escarole and walnuts with honey dijon dressing. Just having a good salad and a warm bowl of gnocchi and then f*cking whatever else they got is fire, you know? Even their super thin little sandwiches with the crunchy focaccia, it’s unreal. That tuna sandwich is one of my favorite sandwiches. I think their eggplant marinara is just on its own level, and absolutely stunning.”" - brennan carley
