"University City’s New Deck Tavern hits the sweet spot between a destination Irish pub and a place to watch all things sports. There’s an enclosed patio and garden out front where you’ll see families and friends eating crispy fish and chips on a sunny day. Inside the cavernous brick-walled space, there are TVs at every corner, and you’ll always overhear an inning or fourth quarter debrief from some old guy at the end of the bar.
