"This Japanese restaurant on Sloane Street has an inviting terrace that you’ll probably wander up to out of pure curiosity. And once you do, the friendly servers and plates of nigiri being paraded around will reel you in. The second Danieru to open in Chelsea, this spot is equally as adorable and significantly more spacious than the original, plus its two-person booths scream date night. When the weather’s nice, getting a few rounds of sushi on the terrace is a no-brainer. The sushi rolls are great, the nigiri is excellent, and it’s a lovely spot to catch up with a couple of friends if you’re in the area. video credit: Rianne Shlebak photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Pause Unmute Food Rundown Hotate Nigiri The scallop is buttery and the wasabi cuts through perfectly. This is our favourite thing on the whole menu. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Aburi Nigiri Set - Tuna We weren’t fans of this seared nigiri set. The tuna was a little too chewy for our liking, so we’d skip the seared stuff and stick to the regular fish. photo credit: Rianne Shlebak Nigiri Set - Assorted A selection of nigiri topped with things like salmon, tuna, and hamachi. This is a great dish. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Salmon Crunch Roll Sweet, spicy, and crunchy, this salmon and avocado roll is a crowd-pleaser. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Black Cod Miso The black cod is unbelievably soft, and the sweet and salty miso sauce is perfect alongside it.
