"Judging by the deep knife scratches on the plates and red plastic booths, not much has changed in this Hialeah pizza spot over the last 50 years. And the pizza is straightforward and just OK. If you like busy pizza loaded with peppers, sausage, onions, and mushrooms, get the Di Piazza deluxe—it’s so heavy on the toppings the slices droop down like a collapsed dorsal fin. We prefer the classic cheese that comes with copious amounts of oregano. It’s a fine after-school spot for any cheese-obsessed kid (that means an extra order of fried mozzarella if they’re on honor roll)." - Mariana Trabanino
