"Aside from the Japanese movie posters plastered on the walls and some doodles of fish on a mirror, Suzuki Shokudo looks like any regular weeknight sushi spot. What makes a difference at this family-owned joint in LIC is the owner, who works the sushi counter himself, constructing perfect toro nigiri and generous portions of squid sashimi. For a place with tile floors and teriyaki lunch specials, the food is superb.
