"Taking over the old Dominick’s in West Hollywood, Amour is an upscale French restaurant that, if nothing else, has revived one of the best dining spaces in the city. That includes a large back patio with checkered flooring, ivy-covered walls, a standalone bar, and a semi-private living room area with a big couch and a roaring fireplace. Our advice: Sit in the latter. The full menu is available—a decadent pumpkin soup and lobster tagliatelle are standouts—and there’s an illuminated wine rack that suggests “billionaire’s underground wine lair.” Plus, on colder nights, that fireplace can kick out some serious BTUs.
