"The L Street Tavern is, first and foremost, the Good Will Hunting bar. But while you can buy t-shirts and hats inside, it’s mostly maintained its neighborhood bar feel rather than completely giving itself over to the tourists. The Irish pub manages to feel like an extension of its neighbor’s living room, and it also opens at noon, so it's one of the best places in Southie to do some laid back day-drinking the next time you blow off work." - Dan Secatore
