"Like the first installation of his classic B movie franchise Machete, Danny Trejo's fast-casual restaurant has proven to be a massive success, and we understand why. Now with four locations across town, Trejo’s Tacos is a solid lunchtime option when you need something quick, tasty enough, and/or vegan-friendly in under 30 minutes. You can choose between tacos with charred mushroom "asada," shredded jackfruit, or some pretty underwhelming chicken tinga, but we much prefer the juicy barbacoa topped with fried tortilla strips for extra crunch.
