"Nearly everyone at this Uptown Vietnamese spot is diving into a steaming bowl of phở. Take that as a sign to follow suit—no meal here is complete without it. The namesake soup is savory and slightly sweet, with tingly hints of warming spices. But avoid having phở-tunnel vision—there are other tasty dishes, like minced shrimp wrapped around sugarcane or bánh cuốn with grilled pork, bean sprouts, and a hefty drizzle of fish sauce. And like its eclectic menu, the spacious dining room has a lot going on. Even on a slower night, the multiple TVs playing Yanni: Live At The Acropolis and a hypnotizing light wheel projecting images of their dishes will keep you entertained. photo credit: Kim Kovacik photo credit: Kim Kovacik photo credit: Kim Kovacik photo credit: Kim Kovacik Pause Unmute Food Rundown Bánh Cuốn Tây Hồ A great dish to share at the start. The rice rolls are pleasantly chewy with a generous amount of fresh greens, fried onions, and slices of pork. Make sure to shower the whole plate with the sweet and savory fish sauce. photo credit: Kim Kovacik Phở Dặc Biệt The phở here is one of the best bowls in the city. It has a pleasant sweetness but is still balanced with lots of beef flavor and warming spices. It comes with a great mix of beef slices, tendon, meatballs, and tripe. photo credit: Kim Kovacik Special 777 Cơm Tấm If you want some rice, get this.
