"If you want to take in the Original Farmers Market’s charm (and tourist mayhem) with a full-service sit-down meal, Ettore Vino e Cucina is your newest option. From the Osteria Mamma people, this northern Italian spot has a substantial antipasti menu with a daily fish crudo and chickpea fritters, plus a lineup of salads, pasta, and braised meat dishes. An Italian-style winery from NorCal is a partner in the project as well, so there’s also a long list of natural and organic wines to enjoy on their outdoor patio. We recently visited Ettore.
