"Bánh makes some of London’s best bánh mì and all of their sandwiches come in at under a tenner. The Vietnamese restaurant in Dalston isn’t just for takeaway, but much of the space is taken up by their bread oven and prepping kitchen—that said, there are still some tables to share. The sandwiches here are the star of the show. They’re flaky, mostly pork-obsessed, and have layers of flavour and textures in them—from chewy char siu, to rich pâté, to crisp pork floss.
