But this neighborhood gay bar (about the size of a broom closet) sits across the street from Midtown Bowl and has remained a fixture for decades. You're not here for a party scene. And there's no decor on the walls unless you count the three dart boards next to the bar. But the lack of environment and fanfare won’t bother you because you're here for the strong drinks. Order a mixed drink like a vodka soda, and you’ll be sending your taste buds on a scavenger hunt to try to find a single drop of soda in your glass.
