Sweet Jill's - Review - Long Beach - Los Angeles - The Infatuation
"Sweet Jill’s is the most famous spot in Long Beach for cinnamon rolls, and as soon as you step into their shop on 2nd Street, you’ll see rows of sheet pans filled with them. Each one weighs as much as a brick, is exceptionally moist, and costs about $10 (cash only). And boy, are they sweet. So sweet that 4 out of 5 dentists wouldn’t recommend. There's a large gloop of sweet icing on top, plus the roll is drenched in sticky syrup that pools in the plastic container (which might be how the dough stays so tender). The first few bites are bliss, but after that, our teeth start to hurt." - Garrett Snyder
