"Pizza by the slice is something that London’s food scene is seriously lacking. Enter Doctor Dough Pizza which serves excellent NYC-style slices from a pop-up stall in Hammersmith’s Lyric Square. The slices are big and the thick tomato sauce—with whole burst cherry tomatoes—is some of the best we’ve ever tasted. The margherita isn’t cheese-heavy, but the mozzarella pokes out from underneath the sauce, and with the sprinkling of parmesan cheese on top, you get the perfect ratio of everything in each bite. If you’re after 18 inches of this top-tier pizza, then you can pre-order it by DMing them on Instagram. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch video credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Pause Unmute Food Rundown Margherita We’re not sure what exactly they put in the tomato sauce, but whatever it is we’d like more of it. Rich, savoury, and moreish, it’ll drip onto the plastic plate if you fold this slice in half, but you’ll be using anything you can to mop up every last drop. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch" - Rianne Shlebak
