"This Cheshire Bridge pizzeria is very old school. They have a giant menu, classic black and white checkered tablecloths, and counter service, where you'll be referred to as “hon.” But if you show up when the Buckhead clubs let out and the poker players from next door's Blind Tiger take over, then that “hon” comes through in a "take no sh*t" tone. So, do yourself a favor and know exactly what you want. While sandwiches and pasta dishes are decent, skip them and head straight for the pizza because it’s what Gino’s is best at. All of their pies are available as single slices. The must-gets are the lasagna slice with a rich meat sauce and melty mozzarella cheese and the garlicky white slice with mounds of ricotta. For pizza lunch or a late-night slice (since they’re open ‘til 6am on weekends), Gino’s is always a clutch option. photo credit: Sarah Newman photo credit: Sarah Newman" - Juli Horsford
