The Elephant and Castle pie and mash house has been around since 1914 and is a beautiful mix of cream tiles and wooden booths. The colour of these pies are similarly pleasing, if a little overdone in our experience, while the filling and sauce is fairly bog standard. A generous shake of both vinegar and pepper is needed here." - jake missing
