Cafe Bistro At Nordstrom - Review - Buckhead - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"Everything about the Nordstrom cafe in Phipps Plaza presents like a museum cafeteria—counter-service ordering, sterile wooden tables and chairs, and a framed menu on a stand near the entrance. But the place has also been known to fill with CEOs or RHOA cast members, and been quietly loved by one-percenters for years. As for us, we see no need to go out of your way to eat here, but it'll do the trick for a quiet, secluded meal after shopping. Fired-cooked, Neapolitan pizzas arrive with a crispy crunch (although not an airy rise). Salads get topped with a generous portion of lump crab meat, and deep pink salmon comes nicely charred with an artistic smear of yogurt sauce. It all works well when you’re starving, and shudder at the idea of joining the general population at Johnny Rockets. Food Rundown Chive Biscuit This tastes similar to the Red Lobster cheddar biscuits, though without cheese and herbier. It’s very spicy but still balances with the tangy red sauce. Wild Salmon Saffron Couscous This fish has a nice char, flakes like you want it to, and has a real salmon taste (not the unidentifiable, off-flavor fish tastes you’d expect from a mall cafe).
