"If you ever fear that Seattle is losing its punk edge, dust off the spiked leather and head to Georgetown Liquor Company for a drink. The dive bar near a set of railroad tracks has cool artwork dedicated to the likes of The Ramones and Lemmy from Motorhead, and blasts loud power chord-heavy music whether it's Saturday night or noon on a Sunday. The reverb and rattle from a passing freight train makes your spicy Bloody Mary a little unsteady, but it all adds to the gritty mood. You'll find decent vegan tweaks on typical bar food made in house, like the chunky cauliflower buffalo wings that are sauced well and have a nice kick. Though seitan-heavy sandwiches like the french dip won't convert hardcore roast beef fans, this is still a good spot for a solo late-night hang when you’re exhausted from sticking it to The Man all day." - Gabe Guarente
