"Jab We Met Indian Kitchen, which opened its doors in summer 2024, is a welcome addition to Barracks Row. Consider this the relaxed neighborhood spot to get your Indian fix after a meandering walk through nearby Eastern Market. Four words: Get the goat cheese. We love the aloo goat cheese tikki, which could make you cry tears of joy, as well as the pouches of deliciousness known as the goat cheese malai dumplings. Just about everything is customizable, spice-wise, so you can kick that incredibly tender lamb roganjosh up as many heat notches as you want." - Mekita Rivas
