"The sheer number of dumpling spots in the Richmond could fill an IKEA catalog. But Bao Bao Dumpling is one to pay attention to for its Shanghainese specialties—like stir-fried rice cakes dotted with cabbage and strips of pork, or noodles slicked with scallion oil. The shengjianbao aren’t as soupy as other versions in town, but they’re still satisfying, as are the xiao long bao.
