"Salon Vert is the raw bar inside Printemps, so if you’ve come to this French-department-store import in FiDi to shop (or window-shop), eat an oyster in between your browsing, why don’t you. It’s in an all-green corner looking out onto the second floor, so you can sit on a pink plaid bar stool and eavesdrop on the path to promotion of the woman next to you while gazing upon a dazzling display of evening gowns and tiny handbags. The menu is short and pricey, but the fresh grated horseradish on the shrimp cocktail is a nice touch, and the sweet peekytoe crab salad with just an idea of mayo is worth every penny—as is the pastis colada, which tastes like a piña colada that grew a backbone.
