PZK BBQ

"The KBBQ at PZK in Beverly Grove is as straightforward as it gets, and that’s what we like about the place. They offer a handful of set menus, including two AYCE options for under $35 per person ($40 if you’re eating by yourself). While you might not be getting meat that’s so high-quality you can hear your brisket moo, the food is perfectly recommendable for the price. Go for Course B, which comes with over 30 cuts. You'll have thinly sliced beef tongue, forearm-sized short ribs, and a sweet-marinated striploin steak called the X-Girlfriend for reasons we still haven't figured out (and are curious to learn more about). The one downside of the PZK is that parking on Beverly Blvd. can be a nightmare, and the restaurant's valet is cash only. We've all got our flaws. As a consolation, PZK stays open until 2am. So once you figure out the parking situation, you can hang out for a long time. " - Sylvio Martins
