"Short Stories is only about the size of a subway car, and it’s easy to walk by without even noticing it - so it’s a great spot for a low-key drink on a Friday night when every other East Village bar is full of people who really enjoyed college. The long, narrow, and very pink space is filled with plants and mirrors, and you can sit on a velvet barstool and have a couple of cocktails while you’re trying to figure out what else to do with your night. There’s also some food, like a burger and burrata." - Bryan Kim
