"La Fagurida is a cozy trattoria in a stone farmhouse that’s been managed by the same family in Tremezzo since 1974. There are two things this inviting restaurant with panoramic views does well: polenta made the classic way, topped with melted semuda, brown butter, sage, and garlic, and the lavarello, a freshwater whitefish. La Fagurida knows that simple preparation is always better—just olive oil and salt are all it takes to elevate their dishes to another level.
