"We keep wondering why Denver doesn’t have more New Haven-style pies, but it could be that White Pie nails it so perfectly that no one else has the hubris to enter the scene. Besides the namesake white pie with crème fraiche, bacon, cremini mushrooms, and an oozing sunny egg, our favorite is the Porky Porkorino, and not just because we like saying the name. The soppressata, pickled jalapenos, and hot honey combo is one for the ages. Full of plants, sunshine, and backless stools, White Pie fills up fast (do other people not need lumbar support?), but you can order ahead for pickup and eat it on your ergonomic sofa." - Allyson Reedy
