"If you want to avoid the line for bagels at The Mud Club, Moonrise is another solid place to grab breakfast before you hit Woodstock’s Sunday flea market. They specialize in stuffed bagels, which are hollowed out and baked with things like eggs and bacon inside. Surprisingly, the best things here are the least breakfasty combinations, like the pastrami reuben bagel, or the buffalo chicken option. Moisture from the fatty pastrami or buffalo sauce gets infused into the bread, and you can really appreciate it as a sandwich, rather than a riff on a scooped BEC. The bagel itself has a solidly impressive firm crust and fluffy interior, so the unstuffed versions are also a solid bet if you’re unwilling to mess with traditional bagel anatomy." - Anne Cruz
