"The best thing at David’s Brisket House in Bed-Stuy isn’t the brisket, it’s the tender, juicy, halal pastrami stacked on seedless rye. If you want a taste of every meat on the menu, go for the triple decker pastrami, corned beef, and brisket sandwich. The corned beef and brisket aren’t as flavorful, but pastrami can pick up the slack if you insist on the combo. Our only complaint is the inconsistent slicing. Sometimes you’ll get super thin layers that melt on in your mouth like a Listerine strip, and sometimes it’s thick cuts with no warning. Specify what you want, and be ready to part with $20 to $30.
