"Gomi, a cool Korean wine and soju bar on Avenue A, is back to hosting their regularly scheduled oyster parties this Wednesday, October 20th. Here’s how it works: show up after 5pm, shuck your own $1.25 oysters, keep count of how many you’ve eaten, and pay on an honor system. If you don’t have an oyster shucking glove, you can BYO-rubber gardening gloves or buy a pair for $1. They’ll also be offering a full menu of japchae, chicken wings, some Brazilian snacks, and drinks - none of which require shucking.
