La Playa Grill - Review - Homestead - Miami - The Infatuation
"Did you know that Homestead has a beach? Technically, this solid seafood spot overlooks a shallow man-made atoll, but it’s still a peaceful waterfront view you’d never know existed unless you were really looking for it. Even if you live in Homestead, grabbing lunch here feels like an afternoon escape from Miami. You have to drive past several acres of palm trees and swampy greenery to get into Homestead Bayfront Park. Plus, the gigantic margaritas are under $11, which feels economically closer to Idaho than Miami. This restaurant is less about the food and more about drinking cheap cocktails on the edge of the Miami-Dade universe with a near-zero chance of running into someone you might know.
