Sushi Miyagi Review - Brentwood - Los Angeles - The Infatuation
"Sushi Miyagi is an omakase spot on that stretch of Barrington that’s sandwiched between private schools in Brentwood. It’s quiet inside, with a couple tables and a seven-seat sushi bar. For dinner, they offer three omakase options ranging from $120 to $180 - the latter of which must be ordered six days in advance. Highlights include San Diego uni, excellent torched butterfish, 20-day aged toro, a fantastic wagyu and uni dish, and an amberjack-and-onion-jam appetizer we wish came before every omakase. The fish is generally high-quality, but for $200 after tax and tip, there are better omakase spots for the price. The $80 lunch omakase, though, is a great deal, and includes many of the same fish cuts as dinner." - Brett Keating
